Modelled thermal performance and sustained processor power of the Thinvent IPC1 Industrial PC
Will the fanless IPC1 run on your factory floor, in a kiosk or in a control cabinet?
- Intel N100: Runs continuously at its 6 W TDP in rooms up to 50 °C. In a 35 °C room, the case can dissipate 31 W, five times the N100's 6 W. At 6 W in a 35 °C room, the hottest point on the case is 48 °C.
- Intel N95: Runs continuously at its 15 W TDP in rooms up to 50 °C. In a 35 °C room, the case can dissipate 35 W, more than twice the N95's 15 W. At 15 W in a 35 °C room, the hottest point on the case is 59 °C.
- Intel N5095: Runs continuously at its 15 W TDP in rooms up to 50 °C. In a 35 °C room, the case can dissipate 35 W, more than twice the N5095's 15 W. At 15 W in a 35 °C room, the hottest point on the case is 59 °C.
- AMD Ryzen 5 7530U: Runs continuously at its 15 W default TDP in rooms up to 50 °C. In a 35 °C room, the case can dissipate 28 W, nearly twice the processor's 15 W. At 15 W in a 35 °C room, the hottest point on the case is 59 °C.
- Fanless: The IPC1 does not have a fan, so dust and lint cannot clog one.
- Touching the case: At full load the finned cover gets hot to the touch. Mount the IPC1 where people do not rest a hand on it.
