RDP Software
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a secure network communications protocol designed for remote management and for remote access to virtual desktops, applications and RDP terminal servers. RDP is available on most versions of Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
Key RDP functions include connection initialization, capability negotiation, and data transfer between clients and servers. RDP allows a user to connect a local device to a remote computer at a distant location. However, Windows disables incoming RDP connections by default. In Linux, you must install packages such as Remmina, xfreerdp, xrdp and x11rdp to use RDP.
