AI-powered non-destructive testing
Incubated at the IIT Madras Research Park, Dhvani AI builds non-destructive testing (NDT) systems that image and inspect materials by optical, x-ray, ultrasound, UV, thermal and microwave methods, paired with AI and machine learning that reads the results to spot defects in welds, castings and structures.
Each of those machines needs an operator interface. Dhvani uses the Thinvent Uno all-in-one as an extended HMI, wired to a special-purpose system-on-chip inside the machine, so the Uno becomes the control panel the operator works from.

Thinvent Uno, the control panel on the machine
Dhvani builds the Thinvent Uno 23.8″ All-in-One PC (running Ubuntu) into its NDT machines as an extended HMI, connected to a special-purpose SoC so the Uno serves as the machine's control panel. A single clean unit, built and imaged in India, means what Dhvani specifies is what ships.
