000 PC - Fanless Mini PCs - Silent & Reliable Computing

What is a Fanless PC?

A fanless PC (sometimes referred to as a "zero fan" or "000" PC) is a computer designed without any moving cooling fans. Instead, it relies on passive cooling through a large heatsink and the chassis itself to dissipate heat. This design eliminates noise, reduces dust ingress, and improves long-term reliability—making it ideal for environments where silence, cleanliness, or continuous operation is critical.

Key Specifications and Technical Details

Fanless PCs typically use low-power processors such as Intel® Celeron® N-series or Core™ i3/i5 U-series, combined with efficient power management. The Intel® N5095A processor found in many Thinvent models is a 4-core, 4-thread chip with a base frequency of 2.0 GHz and a burst frequency up to 2.9 GHz, consuming only 15W TDP. This low heat output allows for completely silent passive cooling. Memory and storage are usually soldered or via SODIMM slots and M.2 SSDs, with configurations ranging from 8GB to 32GB RAM and 128GB to 1TB storage. Connectivity includes multiple USB 3.2 ports, dual HDMI or DisplayPort outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, and sometimes Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules.
