What Is a 3rd Generation PC?
A 3rd generation PC is a computer built on a third-generation processor or on a platform of that era. Intel's 3rd generation Core processors were launched as Ivy Bridge chips. The Thinvent range listed here does not include any 3rd generation Core processor. Every model in this range uses the 13th generation Intel Core processor family, which is a later and more capable generation.
