4th Generation Computers

What Are 4th Generation Computers?

The term "4th generation computers" does not describe a product category with a fixed definition. Historians use it for computers built with integrated circuits and microprocessors in the 1970s and 1980s, and in marketing it is sometimes used for later hardware. The Thinvent range does not include 4th generation processors or 4th generation systems. The Thinvent range includes Thinvent Aero Mini PC systems built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor, which is a 14th generation Intel Core Ultra part.
