What is a compact PC cabinet?
A compact PC cabinet is a small enclosure that holds a complete computer in a footprint much smaller than a desktop tower. Thinvent builds these compact systems as mini PCs. Each unit contains a processor, memory, storage, and I/O ports in one small chassis. The chassis fits behind a monitor, under a desk, or inside a kiosk or panel.
Thinvent mini PCs use processors from Intel and AMD, plus one ARM model. The Intel Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1335U, Core i7-1255U, Core 5 120U, and Core Ultra 5 125U are 12th to 14th generation parts. The AMD Ryzen 5 7430U is a 7000 Series part. The Intel Celeron N5095A is an 11th generation part. The ARM Cortex A55 is used in the Micro 6 Pro.
Memory options range from 4 GB to 16 GB. The Aero and Treo models use DDR4 memory, and the Ultra 5 model uses DDR5. Storage options range from 32 GB eMMC on the Micro 6 Pro to 512 GB SSD on the larger configurations.
