What is an i3 Computer Tower?

An i3 computer tower is a compact desktop computer built around an Intel Core i3 processor. Thinvent does not offer a traditional tower chassis. The Thinvent range includes Intel Core i3 mini PCs, industrial PCs and a panel PC. These systems use the same Intel Core i3 processors as desktop towers, in smaller housings that suit industrial and commercial spaces.

Key Specifications

All products in this range use Intel Core i3 processors from the 12th and 13th generations. The i3-1215U has 6 cores, a maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz and 10 MB of cache. The i3-1315U has 6 cores, a maximum frequency of 4.5 GHz and 10 MB of cache. Memory options are 8 GB or 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage options are 32 GB MLC SSD, 128 GB SSD or 256 GB SSD. Each system runs on a 12V 7A adapter.

Operating System and Connectivity

Systems in this range ship with Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux or no operating system. Some models include Dual Band WiFi, and others have no WiFi.

Use Cases

These systems suit kiosks, machine control, digital signage, point of sale and office computing. The industrial models suit factory floors and other spaces that need a compact, reliable computer.
