What Is a Mini PC?
A mini PC is a small desktop computer. It has a processor, memory, storage and I/O ports in a case the size of a book or smaller. Mini PCs run standard operating systems and connect to monitors, keyboards and networks like a full-size desktop, but they take up far less space and use less power.
Thinvent mini PCs are built for continuous operation in offices, retail counters, kiosks, digital signage and factory floors. The range covers two platforms. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex A55 processor with 4 cores, up to 1.9 GHz and 1 MB cache. It has 4 GB onboard RAM, 32 GB eMMC storage, dual antenna WiFi and one HDMI output, and it runs Thinux embedded Linux. The Treo uses an Intel N5095A processor with 4 cores, up to 2.9 GHz and 4 MB cache. It has 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a 1 TB SSD, a 12V 5A adapter and one HDMI output, and it runs Windows 11 IoT or Windows 11 Pro.

Use Cases
Thinvent mini PCs suit tasks that need a dedicated computer in a small space. The Micro 6 Pro fits digital signage, kiosk and machine control work where Linux is used and wireless networking is needed. The Treo fits point-of-sale, office and industrial desktop work where Windows software must run and a larger SSD and more memory are needed. Both models fit behind a monitor or on a VESA mount, which saves desk and wall space.
Thinvent Mini PC Range
Thinvent has the Micro 6 Pro and the Treo mini PCs in several configurations. Options include a HDMI to VGA cable, a Thinvent keyboard and mouse set, and a VESA mount for the Micro. Treo models are available with Windows 11 IoT, or Windows 11 Pro, with or without the keyboard and mouse set. Choose the model that matches your operating system, memory and storage needs.
