Intel Core i3 Processors in Thinvent Systems
The Intel Core i3 is a family of processors for compact computers, thin clients, industrial PCs and all-in-one systems. The "i3" name marks the entry tier of the Intel Core line. Thinvent builds systems on several generations of Core i3 chips, including 12th Gen Core i3-1215U and 13th Gen Core i3-1315U.
The Core i3-1215U has 6 cores and runs up to 4.4 GHz. It has 10 MB of cache. The Core i3-1315U has 6 cores, runs up to 4.5 GHz and has 10 MB of cache. Both are 12th or 13th generation chips from Intel.
Intel's older 3rd Generation Core i3-3220 is a separate chip. It has 3 MB of cache and a base clock of 3.30 GHz. It uses PCI Express Gen 3 for communication with other components, and it has Intel HD 2500 integrated graphics. Thinvent does not include the Core i3-3220 in its range.
Core i3 systems suit tasks that need steady performance in a small footprint. Common uses are digital signage, kiosks, factory data collection, point-of-sale terminals, and office or edge computing.

Each product lists 8GB DDR4 RAM, except the Treo Mini PC, which has 4GB. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB SSDs, and the Aero Mini PC with the Core i3-1315U has a 32GB MLC SSD. Operating systems include Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux, or no OS. WiFi options include Dual Band WiFi or no WiFi.
