Intel Core i5 4th Gen Is Not in the Thinvent Range
The Thinvent range does not include 4th Gen Intel Core i5 processors. The products on this page use 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core 5 processors. These newer processors offer more cores, higher clock speeds and larger caches than 4th Gen Core i5 chips.

The Intel Core i5-1240P is a 12th Gen processor with 12 cores. It runs up to 4.4 GHz and has a 12 MB cache. The Intel Core i5-1335U is a 13th Gen processor with 10 cores. It runs up to 4.6 GHz and has a 12 MB cache. The Intel Core 5 120U is a 14th Gen processor with 10 cores. It runs up to 5.0 GHz and has a 12 MB cache.
Configurations and Use Cases
Thinvent has these processors with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB SSDs. Models come with a 12V 7A adapter. Some models include dual band WiFi, and some have no WiFi. Dual LAN is available on one IPC5 configuration. Operating systems include Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 IoT Value, DOS, or no OS.
These systems suit factory automation, machine control, data logging, kiosks and digital signage. The Panel PC model adds a 15-inch touchscreen display for operator interfaces. The Aero Mini PC suits space-limited desks, labs and office environments.
