Rather than a traditional tower, Thinvent's desktop lineup focuses on compact, fanless and semi-fanless systems that mount behind a monitor, under a desk, or inside a kiosk or machine cabinet. Every unit is a fully functional desktop: it runs a standard operating system, drives a keyboard, mouse and monitor, connects to a LAN, and supports the same business software you would run on a conventional tower.
The reason the line looks different from a standard desktop is that it is engineered for continuous duty. Most models use low-power Intel® processors — from Celeron® and the Intel® N-series up to Core™ i3, i5 and higher — paired with soldered or socketed DDR4 memory and SSD storage. Fanless chassis remove the single most common point of failure in a dusty office, factory or outdoor enclosure, so these systems run quietly and keep running where a fan-cooled tower would clog and overheat.
