What is a mini PC?
A mini PC is a small desktop computer that fits in the palm of a hand or behind a monitor. It has a processor, memory, storage and video output in a compact case. Mini PCs suit kiosks, digital signage, factory dashboards, office desks and other places where space is limited and power use must stay low.
Thinvent has mini PCs built on two processor families. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex-A55 processor with 4 cores running up to 1.9 GHz and 1 MB of cache. It has 4 GB of onboard RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage. It runs Thinux, an embedded Linux operating system, and includes dual antenna WiFi and one HDMI output.
The Treo uses an Intel Celeron N5095A processor from the 11th generation. It has 4 cores running up to 2.9 GHz, 4 MB of cache, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. It has no WiFi and runs either Windows 11 IoT or Windows 11 Pro.
