Mini Computer Images: What a Mini PC Looks Like and What It Includes
A mini computer, also called a mini PC, is a small desktop computer built on a compact board in a small housing. Images of mini computers show a box that is often no larger than a hardback book. The box holds a processor, memory, storage, and ports on the back for display, network, and power. Thinvent builds mini PCs in two families: the Micro 6 Pro, which uses an ARM processor, and the Treo, which uses an Intel processor.
Thinvent Micro 6 Pro: ARM-Based Mini PC
The Thinvent Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex A55 processor. The processor has 4 cores, runs up to 1.9 GHz, and has 1 MB of cache. The unit includes 4 GB of onboard RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage. It has one HDMI output, dual antenna WiFi, and a 5V 2A power adapter. It runs Thinux, an embedded Linux operating system. Several bundles add a HDMI to VGA cable, a keyboard and mouse set, or a VESA mount for mounting the unit behind a display.
Thinvent Treo: Intel-Based Mini PC
The Thinvent Treo uses an Intel N5095A processor from the 11th generation Celeron series. The processor has 4 cores, runs up to 2.9 GHz, and has 4 MB of cache. The unit includes 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It uses a 12V 5A power adapter and has no WiFi. Operating system options are Windows 11 IoT, Windows 11 Professional, and Windows 11 Pro. Bundles add a Thinvent keyboard and mouse set.
