What is a mini PC?
A mini PC is a small desktop computer built on a compact board in a small chassis. It runs a full operating system and connects to a monitor, keyboard and mouse like a standard desktop. Mini PCs take up little desk or wall space and use less power than full-size towers. They suit kiosks, digital signage, office desks, classrooms and light industrial control.
Thinvent has two mini PC families for different workloads. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex A55 processor with 4 cores running up to 1.9 GHz and 1 MB of cache. It has 4 GB of onboard RAM, 32 GB of eMMC storage, one HDMI output, dual antenna WiFi and Thinux embedded Linux. The Treo uses an Intel N5095A processor with 4 cores running up to 2.9 GHz and 4 MB of cache. It has 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a 12V 5A power adapter. The Treo runs Windows 11 IoT or Windows 11 Pro, depending on the model.
