Mini PC Foxconn - Mini PCs: Compact Intel, AMD and ARM Systems

What Is a Mini PC?

A mini PC is a complete desktop computer in a small chassis. It has a processor, memory, storage, and I/O ports on a compact board. Mini PCs take less desk space than a tower PC and draw less power. They suit offices, kiosks, digital signage, retail point-of-sale, and home or lab use where space is limited.

Key Specifications

Thinvent mini PCs use processors from Intel, AMD and ARM. The main specifications to compare are:

  • Processor: Sets the performance level. Core count, maximum frequency and cache size are listed for each model.

  • Memory: Sample models range from 4 GB to 16 GB. DDR4 and DDR5 RAM are both offered.

  • Storage: SSD storage ranges from 32 GB eMMC on the ARM model to 512 GB SSD on higher-capacity models.

  • Connectivity: Some models include Dual Band WiFi or dual antenna WiFi. Others have no WiFi. Dual LAN is available on selected Aero models.

  • Operating system: Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux, or Thinux Embedded Linux, depending on the model.

  • Power: External adapters rated 5V, 12V or 19V, matched to each model.
