What is a mini PC?
A mini PC is a complete desktop computer in a small chassis. It runs a full operating system such as Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu Linux, and it connects to standard monitors, keyboards and mice. Mini PCs take up little desk or rack space, so they suit offices, kiosks, digital signage, point-of-sale systems and light industrial control.
Key specifications
Thinvent mini PCs use several processor families. Each model lists its generation, series, core count, maximum frequency and cache size:
-
Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and Core Ultra 5 (12th to 14th generation): 6 to 12 cores, up to 4.7 GHz, with 10 to 12 MB cache. These models are suited to general office work, multitasking and business applications.
-
Intel Celeron N5095A (11th generation): 4 cores, up to 2.9 GHz, with 4 MB cache. This model suits basic computing and entry-level tasks.
-
AMD Ryzen 5 7430U (7000 Series): 6 cores, up to 4.3 GHz, with 16 MB cache. This model suits multitasking and graphics-heavy office work.
-
ARM Cortex-A55: 4 cores, up to 1.9 GHz, with 1 MB cache, 4 GB onboard RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage. The Micro 6 Pro runs Thinux embedded Linux and suits embedded and always-on tasks.
Memory ranges from 4 GB to 16 GB. Intel and AMD models use DDR4 RAM, and the Core Ultra 5 uses DDR5. Storage is 128 GB to 512 GB SSD on Intel and AMD models.

Choosing a mini PC
Choose a model by workload. For office software, web applications and video calls, an Intel Core i3 or i5 has enough performance. For heavier multitasking, choose a Core i7, Core Ultra 5 or Ryzen 5. For fixed-function tasks such as digital signage, kiosks or machine control, an ARM-based model with embedded Linux uses less power and needs less memory. Connectivity also varies: some models include Dual Band WiFi, some omit WiFi, and some include Dual LAN.
Thinvent mini PCs
Thinvent has mini PCs in three families. The Aero series includes Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and Core Ultra 5 models, with options for Dual LAN and Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu Linux. The Treo series includes Intel Celeron and AMD Ryzen 5 models with 12V or 19V power adapters. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex-A55 processor and runs Thinux embedded Linux. All models are available with 4 GB to 16 GB of RAM and 32 GB to 512 GB of storage, so buyers can match the configuration to their workload.
