What Is a Mini PC?
A mini PC is a small desktop computer built on a compact board in a small chassis. It runs a full operating system, connects to a monitor and accepts a keyboard and mouse. Mini PCs take far less desk and cabinet space than a tower PC. They also draw less power, which suits continuous operation.
Thinvent builds mini PCs with two processor families. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex A55 processor with 4 cores running up to 1.9 GHz and 1 MB of cache. The Treo uses an Intel N5095A processor with 4 cores running up to 2.9 GHz and 4 MB of cache.

Use Cases and Applications
The Micro 6 Pro suits embedded and edge tasks. Examples include digital signage, kiosks, machine interfaces and wireless data collection. Its dual antenna WiFi and Linux base support connected devices that run on a fixed program.
The Treo suits tasks that need more memory and storage. Examples include point-of-sale terminals, office and back-office work, and industrial control with Windows software. Its 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD handle multiple applications and large data sets.
Both models mount behind a monitor or on a wall with a VESA mount, which saves desk space in shops, factories and control rooms.
Thinvent Mini PCs
Thinvent has mini PCs in several configurations. The Micro 6 Pro is available with a 5V 2A adapter, an HDMI to VGA cable, a keyboard and mouse set, or a VESA mount for Micro. The Treo is available with a 12V 5A adapter and with Windows 11 IoT or Windows 11 Pro, with or without a keyboard and mouse set. Choose the Micro 6 Pro for a low-power Linux device and the Treo for a Windows system with more memory and storage.
