Mini PCs for Touch Screen Use
A mini PC does not have a built-in touch screen. It is a compact computer that connects to an external display. To use touch input, you connect a touch-enabled monitor to the mini PC's HDMI or DisplayPort output and use the monitor's USB touch connection. The mini PC runs the operating system, and the touch screen sends input to it. Touch support then depends on the monitor and on the operating system and drivers on the mini PC.

Choosing a Model for Touch Applications
For kiosks and signage that show simple content, the Celeron-based Treo model or the ARM-based Micro 6 Pro is a cost-efficient choice. For point-of-sale and interactive applications that run several programs at once, an Aero model with an Intel Core processor and 16 GB of memory suits the workload. The Micro 6 Pro uses a single HDMI output, so it fits applications with one display.
Select a model that includes a dual band WiFi module if the device must connect wirelessly. Models listed without WiFi need a wired network connection.
