Compact Mini PCs for Business and Industrial Use
A mini PC is a small desktop computer that fits in the palm of a hand or behind a monitor. Thinvent mini PCs run standard business software, operating systems and industrial applications in a compact housing. They suit offices, kiosks, digital signage, point-of-sale stations, machine monitoring and edge computing.
Thinvent has mini PCs with Intel Core, Intel Celeron, AMD Ryzen and ARM Cortex processors. Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 models, and Intel Core Ultra 5 models, are available in the Aero series. Processors include 4 to 12 cores and clock speeds up to 5.0 GHz. Memory options are 4 GB to 16 GB, and storage options are 32 GB eMMC or 128 GB to 512 GB SSD.
Operating system choices include Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux and Thinux Embedded Linux. Some models include Dual Band WiFi or a Dual Antenna WiFi module. Other models have no WiFi, so they connect by wired Ethernet. Select Dual LAN models add a second Ethernet port for network segmentation or redundancy.
Power is supplied by an external adapter rated at 5V, 12V or 19V. Adapter ratings differ by model, so check the adapter before you deploy a unit.

Choosing a Mini PC for Your Application
For general office work and multitasking, choose a model with 16 GB of RAM and a 6-core or higher processor. For basic terminal, kiosk or signage work, the Treo with Intel N5095A or the Micro 6 Pro with ARM Cortex-A55 uses less power and less space. For network-heavy tasks such as firewalls, routers or gateways, choose a Dual LAN Aero model.
