Processor choice sets the performance level. Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and Core Ultra 5 processors in the Thinvent Aero range suit general office work, multitasking and business applications. The Aero models use 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel processors with 6 to 12 cores and maximum frequencies from 4.3 GHz to 4.7 GHz. AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processors in the Thinvent Treo range have 6 cores, up to 4.3 GHz and 16 MB of cache. The Treo model with the Intel N5095A has 4 cores and up to 2.9 GHz for light tasks and entry-level Linux use.
Memory and storage also affect results. Thinvent mini PCs ship with 4 GB to 16 GB of RAM. Models use DDR4 memory, and one Aero model uses DDR5. Storage ranges from 32 GB eMMC on the ARM-based Micro 6 Pro to 512 GB SSD on higher-end models. Power adapters range from 5V 2A to 19V 3A, depending on the model.
Connectivity varies by model. Some models include Dual Band WiFi, and others have no WiFi. The Aero model with Core Ultra 5 and the Aero model with Core i7 include Dual LAN. The Micro 6 Pro has Dual Antenna WiFi and one HDMI port.
