A single board computer (SBC) is a complete computer built on one circuit board, with processor, memory, storage interfaces and I/O on the same board. Intel-based single board computers run standard x86 software, including Windows 11 IoT and Ubuntu Linux, which makes them easier to deploy than many ARM-based boards.
Thinvent builds Intel-based compact computers in several form factors. The Thinvent range uses Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and Core 5 processors from the 11th to 14th generations, along with Intel Celeron N5095A. Most models pair the processor with DDR4 memory and an SSD, and run on a 12V DC adapter. Core counts range from 4 to 12, and maximum turbo frequencies reach up to 5.0 GHz.
