Small Form Factor ATX PC Cases Compared with Mini PCs
A small form factor (SFF) PC is a computer built in a compact chassis. A standard ATX case is a full-size tower that holds a full-size ATX motherboard. Thinvent does not sell ATX tower cases. The Thinvent range consists of mini PCs in the Aero and Treo series, which provide a compact alternative for space-limited installations.
Thinvent mini PCs use Intel Core, Intel Celeron, AMD Ryzen and ARM processors. The Aero series includes Intel Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1335U, Core i7-1255U and Core Ultra 5 125U models. The Treo series includes Intel N5095A and AMD Ryzen 5 7430U models. The Micro 6 Pro uses an ARM Cortex A55 processor with 4 GB onboard RAM.
Memory and storage vary by model. Aero and Treo units ship with 4 GB to 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 512 GB of SSD storage. The Micro 6 Pro has 4 GB onboard RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage. Several models include Dual Band WiFi, and others have no WiFi. Operating system options include Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux and Thinux Embedded Linux.
