The Thinvent range does not include AMD processors. Every Thinvent thin client and mini PC on this page uses the Intel Celeron N5095A processor, an 11th generation chip with 4 cores, a maximum frequency of 2.9 GHz, and a 4 MB cache.
A thin client is a compact computer that runs applications from a central server or virtual desktop. Most of the processing happens on the server, so the thin client needs only enough power to display the session and handle input. This design lowers hardware cost, simplifies software updates, and keeps business data in the data centre rather than on each desk.
