An office computer is built for a desk: light load, climate control, regular reboots, replaced every three years. An industrial computer has a different job — uninterrupted operation in environments that would kill a desktop.

Thinvent's IPC range is built for that job. Fanless cooling, ventless chassis, industrial-temperature rated, BIS / RoHS / ISO certified, 24/7/365 operation guaranteed by design.

24/7/365 operation by design

Component placement, thermal-pad selection, conservative chassis sizing — every design decision is made for an industrial computer that runs continuously, not for one that idles in an air-conditioned office and gets restarted every Friday.

No fans means no fan failures

The most common reason an office PC fails on a factory floor is its fan. Dust loads up, fan slows, CPU throttles, bearing seizes. A Thinvent industrial computer has no fan. The chassis is the heatsink.

Industrial I/O

RS-232 (up to 6 ports on IPC3 and IPC5, configurable), optional RS-485, gigabit Ethernet, HDMI + VGA, multiple USB. Direct connection to PLCs, scanners, vision cameras and sensors without a USB-to-serial adapter.

A normal PC is built around airflow cooling — a fan pulls air through, dust collects, the fan eventually fails. An industrial computer like the Thinvent IPC range is built around passive conduction cooling — no fan, sealed chassis, no air path for dust. Industrial-temperature rated, 24/7 operation, and an I/O set (RS-232, RS-485, gigabit Ethernet) suited to factory and field equipment.

IPC3 and IPC5 are rated 0 °C to 50 °C. IPC1 is rated 0 °C to 40 °C.

BIS, RoHS and ISO certified. Specific certificate copies on request from sales.

1-year standard warranty per thinvent.in/a/warranty. For government / GeM, on-site 1-3 year warranty with optional Defective Media Retention (DMR) via gov@thinvent.in.
