Thin Client Terminal
Remote Desktop is a technology that allows a local computer to connect to and control a remote PC over a network or the Internet. It works through Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or a terminal service that uses Microsoft’s proprietary Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
A thin client computer, also known as a thin client, is a replacement for a desktop PC. It provides the functionality of a desktop PC without the high cost of purchase and maintenance.
You can use a thin client in many ways. For example, you can connect a thin client to your existing desktop or laptop computer. Your computer is probably already connected to a modem or router for Internet access. Connect one of our Micro thin clients to the same router, modem or switch using an Ethernet cable. The thin client then connects to your PC using RDP, and you can work on both your PC and your thin client at the same time. You can connect several thin clients to your computer in this way. A thin client is an inexpensive and effective way to let 5 to 10 or more people share the same desktop computer.
