What Is an AIO Thin Client?
An AIO thin client is a compact client device that combines the display, computing and network functions of a thin client in one unit. A thin client runs little local software. It connects to a server, virtual desktop or cloud host, which runs the applications and stores the data. The AIO form factor integrates the thin client into a monitor-style chassis, which reduces cable count and desk space.
The Thinvent Neo S thin client range is built on the Intel Celeron J1900 processor. This quad-core processor runs at up to 2.4 GHz and has a 2 MB cache. The system includes 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 128 GB SSD. A 19V 1.3A power adapter supplies power. The Neo S models do not include WiFi, so they connect to the network over wired Ethernet.
