The Thinvent range does not include a managed or unmanaged Ethernet switch. Thinvent manufactures industrial PCs, mini PCs, thin clients and all-in-one PCs. Several of these products include Dual LAN ports, which connect a device to two Ethernet networks at once. Use them where a network switch would otherwise be needed for a small, fixed setup.
Ethernet Connectivity in Thinvent Products
Thinvent Industrial PC IPC5 models with Dual LAN provide two wired Ethernet ports on one unit. A single IPC5 can bridge two network segments, separate a control network from a plant network, or serve as a gateway between devices. Dual LAN is available on the IPC5 with Intel Core i7-1255U processor, with 16GB or 64GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB or 1TB SSD storage.
Other Thinvent products provide wired and wireless networking options. The Aero Mini PC with Intel Core i3-1215U and the Treo Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 5 7430U include Dual Band WiFi on selected configurations. The Micro 5R Thin Client includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth.
