What Is an Example of a System Unit?
A system unit is the case that holds the main internal parts of a computer. It is also called the box, main unit, system box, tower or chassis. The system unit contains the motherboard, processor (CPU), memory (RAM) and storage. It does not include the monitor, keyboard, mouse or other external peripherals.
