An industrial PC (IPC) is a computer engineered for continuous operation in environments where a standard desktop or office mini PC would struggle — factory floors, machine cabinets, outdoor kiosks, warehouse aisles, and utility rooms. The differences are not cosmetic. Industrial PCs typically use fanless cooling so there is no impeller pulling dust, metal shavings or moisture into the chassis, they accept wide-range DC power, they mount on DIN rails or VESA brackets, and they are validated for extended temperature ranges and vibration.
