An industrial PC (IPC) is a computing platform engineered for continuous, unattended operation in environments where a standard office desktop would fail quickly. Instead of a plastic chassis with open vents and a small fan, industrial computers use metal enclosures, wide-temperature components, watchdog timers, and fanless thermal designs that move heat through the case itself.
