Ordenador+Cpu - Industrial Computers & CPUs: Fanless, Reliable, Durable

What "ordenador + CPU" Really Means

The phrase ordenador CPU (literally "computer CPU" in Spanish) is a broad search for a complete computing unit and the processor that powers it. In practice, buyers typing this are looking for one of two things: a desktop-class computer they can deploy as a working machine, or the central processing unit specification that determines how fast and capable that machine will be. Because the CPU is soldered into modern small-form-factor and industrial boards rather than socketed, choosing the right computer and choosing the right CPU are now the same decision.

The CPU (central processing unit) is the component that executes every instruction in an operating system, application or control program. Four numbers describe it: core count (how many tasks run in parallel), clock speed (how fast each core cycles), cache (on-chip memory that reduces trips to RAM) and TDP (thermal design power, which dictates how much heat must be removed). Industrial and embedded computers are usually built around low-TDP processors — 6W to 15W — precisely so they can be cooled
