What Is a Quantum Thin Client?
A "Quantum Thin Client" usually refers to one of two things. Most commonly it is the Quantum QHM6056B, a compact, low-cost thin client terminal built around a 1 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor. Occasionally the phrase is used loosely to describe any thin client that delivers a "quantum leap" in efficiency, security and manageability for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), remote desktop and cloud computing environments. In both readings, the idea is the same: the computing happens on a central server or virtual machine, and the thin client simply presents the desktop, keyboard, mouse and display to the user.
