RDP Thin Client OS: Neo S and Micro 5R Options

What Is an RDP Thin Client OS?

An RDP thin client OS is the operating system on a thin client that connects to a remote desktop over the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The session runs on a server or virtual machine. The thin client shows the desktop and sends keyboard and mouse input back to the server. Applications and data stay on the server.

Microsoft's Remote Desktop clients connect to PCs that run supported Windows editions. Windows SKUs that are not listed as supported, such as Windows 10 Home, are not compatible with connecting remotely. Remote Desktop Services (RDS) in Windows Server 2016 and later supports single sign-on through the Remote Desktop application and through the Web portal.
