Ryzen AI PCs: What the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Is

The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is a mobile processor with 16 cores. It launched in January 2025 and belongs to the Ryzen AI Max lineup, which uses the Zen 5 (Strix Halo) architecture and Socket FP11. AMD positions the Ryzen AI Max series for high-performance laptops, where CPU performance, integrated graphics and AI acceleration all matter.

The wider Ryzen AI family includes several other models. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 has twelve cores (four Zen 5 and eight Zen 5c), 24 threads and a boost clock up to 5.1 GHz, with Radeon 890M graphics. The Ryzen AI 9 365 has ten cores and Radeon 880M graphics. The Ryzen AI 7 345 and Ryzen AI 5 340 are further models in the same family.

Key Differences Within the Ryzen AI Range

The Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 has a slightly more powerful NPU than the HX 370. The Ryzen AI 9 465 is a Gorgon Point processor that debuted in early 2026, with 10 CPU cores.

Thinvent Products with Intel Core i3-1215U

The Thinvent range does not include a Ryzen AI processor. Thinvent industrial PCs use the Intel Core i3-1215U, a 12th generation processor with 6 cores, a maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz and 10 MB cache.
