The term "SCR" in the context of Thinvent's product range refers to screen-capable form factors—specifically our all-in-one (AIO) PCs and thin clients with integrated displays. These solutions combine the processing power of a standard industrial PC with a built-in LCD or touchscreen, eliminating the need for a separate monitor. This integration simplifies cabling, saves space, and improves reliability in demanding environments such as factory floors, retail checkouts, medical carts, and kiosks.
A screen-equipped industrial PC typically features a fanless design for silent operation and dust resistance, along with wide-temperature tolerance (often 0–50°C). The screen itself may be resistive or capacitive touch, protected by anti-glare glass. Common diagonal sizes are 21.5‑inch and 23.8‑inch, with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution as standard. Brightness levels range from 250 to over 400 nits for visibility in bright ambient light.
