The T5740E is a thin client model name. The Thinvent range does not include a model with this number. The range includes two thin client families: the Thinvent Neo S, which uses the Intel Celeron J1900 processor, and the Thinvent Micro 5R, which uses an ARM Cortex A53 processor. This page describes both families so you can choose the model that fits your deployment.
Thinvent Neo S Thin Clients
The Thinvent Neo S runs on the Intel J1900 processor. The J1900 has 4 cores, a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and 2 MB of cache. Neo S models offer 4 GB or 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. Storage options include 32 GB MLC SSD, 128 GB SSD and 256 GB SSD, and some models have two 32 GB MLC SSDs. Software options include Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu Linux, DOS, Thinux Embedded Linux, or no operating system. Some models include a 19V 3A adapter and others a 19V 1.3A adapter. The Neo S models do not include WiFi.
Thinvent Micro 5R Thin Client
The Micro 5R runs on an ARM Cortex A53 processor with 4 cores and a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz. It includes 2 GB of onboard RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage. It has an HDMI 2.0 port and a speaker output. It includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth, runs Thinux Embedded Linux, and uses a 5V 2A adapter.

Use Cases
Thin clients connect to a server or a virtual desktop and run applications there. Use the Neo S for office work, data entry and desktop virtualization when Windows support or more memory is needed.
