Fanless Nettop PCs for Industrial and Commercial Use
A fanless nettop PC is a small computer that cools itself without a fan. The chassis works as a passive heat sink, so the unit has no moving parts to clean or replace. Fanless nettops suit dusty, hot, or enclosed sites, and places where quiet operation matters.
The Thinvent range includes fanless-style compact systems built on Intel Core processors and ARM processors. The Thinvent® Industrial PC IPC5 uses the Intel® Core™ i5-1240P processor, with 12 cores, a maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz, and 12 MB cache. The Thinvent® Industrial PC IPC5 with the Intel® Core™ i7-1255U processor has 10 cores, a maximum frequency of 4.7 GHz, and 12 MB cache. The Thinvent® Industrial PC IPC3 uses the Intel® Core™ i3-1215U processor, with 6 cores and 10 MB cache.
Memory options range from 8 GB to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage options range from 256 GB to 1 TB of SSD. Some models include Dual LAN, and some include Dual Band WiFi. Operating systems include Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 IoT Value, and Ubuntu Linux. Models without an operating system are also available.
The Thinvent® Micro 5R Thin Client and Thinvent® Micro 6 Pro Mini PC use ARM Cortex processors. They provide 2 GB to 4 GB of onboard RAM and 16 GB to 32 GB of eMMC storage. Both run Thinux™ Embedded Linux.
