What is the Up Squared 6000?
The Up Squared 6000 is a developer board made by UP Boards. It is a small form factor board, measuring 101.6 mm x 101.6 mm (4 in x 4 in). It is built around an Intel® Atom® x6000E series, Intel® Pentium® or Intel® Celeron® N or J series processor SoC (system on chip), also known as Elkhart Lake. The board supports up to 8 GB of LPDDR4 memory and up to 64 GB of onboard eMMC storage.

The Atom series adds a 100-pin board-to-board connector and TPM 2.0 for I/O expansion through a carrier board. The Up Squared 6000 also features Intel® Programmable Service Engine (PSE) and onboard TPM, which are part of the next-generation IoT-enhanced processor design.
Use Cases
The Up Squared 6000 is used for developing edge computing, AIoT (artificial intelligence of things) and industrial automation applications. Its GPIO header and M.2 slots let developers attach sensors, storage and wireless modules. Its dual Ethernet ports suit gateways that connect to separate networks.

Thinvent Industrial PCs
Thinvent does not include the Up Squared 6000 board in its range. Thinvent's industrial PCs use the Intel® Core™ i3-1215U processor (12th generation, 6 cores, up to 4.4 GHz, 10 MB cache) with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and 1 TB SSD. The Thinvent® Industrial PC IPC3 is available in several configurations, with Windows 11 Professional, Windows 11 IoT Value, Windows 11 Pro, DOS or Thinux™ Embedded Linux, and with or without Quad DB9 Serial ports. All configurations ship with a 12 V 10 A adapter and no WiFi.
