Can a Thin Client Be Used as a PC?
Yes. A thin client can run as a complete desktop PC when it has its own operating system, storage and memory. The Thinvent Neo S thin client runs Windows 11 IoT, Windows 11 Professional, Windows 11 Pro, DOS or Thinux Embedded Linux, so you can choose the software that fits your work. Each unit has local storage and runs applications on the device itself.
Key Specifications
The Neo S uses an Intel Celeron J1900 processor from the 7th generation. The processor has 4 cores, a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and 2 MB of cache. Each unit includes 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The unit runs from a 19V 1.3A adapter and has no built-in WiFi.
