A NUC is a small form-factor computer. NUC stands for Next Unit of Computing, a line of compact computers originally developed by Intel. A NUC mini PC fits on a desk or behind a monitor and runs a full desktop operating system. The Intel NUC design focuses on performance per watt and modular upgrade options.

A NUC mini PC is defined by its processor, memory and storage. The Thinvent range uses Intel Core processors from the 11th, 12th and 14th generations, an Intel Celeron processor, and an AMD Ryzen 5 7000 Series processor. Memory ranges from 2 GB to 32 GB. Storage is solid-state, from 16 GB eMMC to 1 TB SSD.

Thinvent NUC mini PCs
The Thinvent range covers compact desktop computers, industrial PCs, a thin client and a Mini PC with Linux or Windows 11. The Thinvent range does not include DDR5 memory or PCIe Gen 5 storage.
