A computer monitor and a CPU work together as one system. The CPU runs the software and processes data, and the monitor shows the result. For business use, the choice depends on how many hours the system runs, the workload, and the environment where it is installed.
Thinvent builds industrial PCs, mini PCs and thin clients for these needs. The Thinvent Industrial PC IPC5 uses Intel Core i5-1240P (12 cores, up to 4.4 GHz, 12 MB cache) and Intel Core i7-1255U (10 cores, up to 4.7 GHz, 12 MB cache). Both are available with 16 GB or 32 GB DDR4 RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB SSD storage. The IPC5 is supplied with a 12V 7A adapter and is offered with dual LAN or Dual Band WiFi, with Windows 11 IoT Value, Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu Linux.
The Thinvent Industrial PC IPC3 uses Intel Core i3-1215U (6 cores, up to 4.4 GHz, 10 MB cache) with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and 256 GB SSD. It runs Ubuntu Linux and is a fit for tasks that need less processing power.
For office and general business use, the Thinvent Aero Mini PC is available with Intel Core i3-1215U (6 cores) or Intel Core 5 120U (10 cores, up to 5.0 GHz, 12 MB cache, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD). The Thinvent Treo Mini PC is available with AMD Ryzen 5 7430U (6 cores, up to 4.3 GHz, 16 MB cache, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) and with Intel N5095A (4 cores, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD).
For fixed-function terminals, the Thinvent Micro 5R Thin Client uses an ARM Cortex A53 processor (4 cores, up to 2.0 GHz) with 2 GB onboard RAM and 16 GB eMMC storage. It supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth and runs Thinux embedded Linux.

Choosing a Configuration
Choose higher core counts and more RAM for multitasking, data analysis and several applications open at once. Choose an industrial PC with a 12V DC input for factory floors and control rooms. Choose a thin client where applications run on a server and the device only displays them.
Thinvent Products with This Range
The Thinvent range includes industrial PCs (IPC5 and IPC3), mini PCs (Aero and Treo) and thin clients (Micro 5R). The range does not include models with Intel Core Ultra processors or discrete graphics cards. For a monitor, pair any of these units with a standard display that has an HDMI input.
