What Is a Mini-ITX Assemblato?
"Assemblato" is the Italian word for assembled. A Mini-ITX assemblato is a complete computer built on a Mini-ITX motherboard, with the processor, memory, storage and operating system already installed and tested. The buyer receives a ready-to-use system instead of loose parts.
Mini-ITX is a motherboard form factor of 170 mm × 170 mm (6.7 in × 6.7 in). VIA Technologies developed it in 2001. Mini-ITX motherboards have traditionally been used in small-configured computer systems. Because the board is small, the chassis and power supply can also be small.
