Snapdragon PCs vs Intel Core Industrial PCs

Snapdragon PCs and Thinvent Products

Snapdragon is a line of processors from Qualcomm. Qualcomm lists Snapdragon X Series chips for Windows laptops, including the Snapdragon X Elite, X2 Plus and X2 Elite. Snapdragon chips are also widely used in Android smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and VR headsets.

Snapdragon X Series processors use a 3nm process node. The X2 Elite line has up to 18 CPU cores, up to 5.0 GHz clock speed and an NPU rated up to 85 TOPS. Qualcomm lists Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G cellular connectivity for these platforms.

Snapdragon Compared With Thinvent Processors

The Thinvent range does not include Snapdragon processors. Thinvent PCs use Intel Core, Intel Celeron, AMD Ryzen and ARM Cortex processors.
