What is the RK3576?
The RK3576 is an 8 nm AIoT system-on-chip from Rockchip. It has four Arm Cortex-A72 cores running up to 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores running up to 1.8 GHz. It includes an Arm Mali-G52 MC3 GPU and a 6 TOPS NPU that supports INT4, INT8, INT16, FP16 and BF16 data types. Rockchip positions the chip between the RK3568 and RK3588 on cost and performance.
Key specifications
The RK3576 supports LPDDR4, LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 memory. Its storage options include UFS 2.0, eMMC 5.1, SD 3.0 and SATA or NVMe through PCIe. The chip decodes 8K video at 30 frames per second and 4K video at 120 frames per second. It encodes 4K video at 60 frames per second. Display outputs include HDMI 2.1 at 4K@120, eDP, DP 1.4 through USB-C and MIPI DSI. The image signal processor (ISP) supports 16 MP cameras through MIPI CSI-2 inputs.
Interfaces and connectivity
The RK3576 has PCIe 2.1 through a combo PHY, USB 3.2 Gen1 and USB 2.0, and two RGMII Gigabit Ethernet MACs. It also has CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, PWM and SARADC interfaces. The number of available interfaces depends on pin-muxing and combo-PHY configuration.
Operating system support
Vendor Linux based on kernel 6.1 is the main development path. Android 14 is available through board vendors. Mainline Linux support is in progress. U-Boot is available from the vendor, and mainline support is arriving.

Thinvent products
The Thinvent range does not include the RK3576. Thinvent builds its products on Intel and AMD processors and on one Arm processor, the Cortex-A53 in the Micro 5R Thin Client. The Intel Core i5-1240P, i7-1255U and Core 5 120U models are offered in the Thinvent Industrial PC IPC5 and Aero Mini PC. The Intel N5095A is in the Thinvent Treo Mini PC, and the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U is also in the Treo Mini PC. Thinvent Industrial PC IPC3 uses the Intel Core i3-1215U. Each Thinvent product includes the processor, memory, storage and adapter named on its product page.
