What Is a PCoIP Zero Client?
A PCoIP Zero Client is a thin endpoint that connects users to a virtual desktop or workstation over the network. The Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP) protocol carries the display, keyboard, mouse and USB traffic between the endpoint and the host. Because the endpoint stores no operating system or user data, no data is transmitted to the device itself. Users connect securely to their virtual environments, and the device is easy to deploy, manage and operate.
The Teradici Tera2 processor is the chip inside current PCoIP Zero Clients. It is a dedicated processing chip for the PCoIP protocol. Recent firmware releases for Tera2 Zero Clients add bug fixes, stability enhancements and new features, including support for USB hubs and similar devices that did not work in earlier versions.

Thinvent Products for Remote and Virtual Desktop Use
