What Is a Tiny SoC Computer?

A tiny SoC computer is a complete computing system built around a System on Chip — a single silicon package that integrates the CPU cores, GPU, memory controller, display engine and I/O controllers that once required separate chips. Because the SoC replaces a whole board of components, the finished machine can shrink to the size of a paperback book, run from a small 12V adapter, and often cool itself without a fan.
