What "Touch" Means in Industrial and Commercial Computing
In computing hardware, "touch" refers to touchscreen input — the layer of technology that lets an operator interact directly with a display instead of using a keyboard and mouse. A touch-enabled computer is therefore a complete system: a display panel with an integrated touch sensor, a front bezel designed for repeated contact, and the processing hardware (mini PC, industrial PC, thin client or all-in-one PC) that drives the application.
