What Is a Mini PC?
A mini PC is a complete desktop computer built into a small chassis. It has a processor, memory, storage, and ports in a body much smaller than a tower PC. Mini PCs run standard operating systems such as Windows 11 and Ubuntu Linux, so they can replace a full-size desktop for many tasks.

Use Cases
Mini PCs fit where space is limited. Common uses include digital signage, point-of-sale terminals, office desktops, kiosks, and light engineering work. Models with 8 GB or more of memory handle office software, web applications, and multi-tab browsing. Models with 16 GB or more and 10 to 12 cores suit multitasking, data analysis, and development environments.
Power use is low. Most Thinvent mini PCs run on a 12V or 19V external adapter, which helps reduce power draw in fixed installations.
