When Thinvent Technologies was founded in 2007, our vision was to be a leader in embedded hardware and Linux-based solutions. Today, we manufacture mini PCs, thin clients, industrial computers and all-in-one systems in India, and deliver computing solutions to industries as varied as transportation, government, manufacturing, education, banking and healthcare.

Meet Our Team
Saurabh
Founder
An engineer from IIT Madras, Saurabh has worked with Linux on desktops, servers and embedded systems since 1995, and has spent 25+ years building products. He enjoys building new products and ventures from the ground up.
Outside work, he enjoys jive dancing and gardening.
Shivam
Operations Manager
Shivam has 6+ years of experience in IT hardware, manufacturing, logistics, operations and procurement, across both domestic and global markets. He applies this experience to improve the efficiency of Thinvent's operations.
Outside work, he enjoys biking on trails.

We have developed Thinux, a specialised Linux distribution that turns our hardware into secure, centrally managed computing endpoints. Built on Ubuntu Linux, Thinux provides enterprise-grade security through read-only root filesystems, atomic updates, and centralised management.
Green Computing Initiative
We are committed to reducing environmental impact by replacing typical 10kg, 50W computers with our 200g, 5W systems. Our supply chain uses 30+ suppliers in Delhi/NCR, and we recycle our products carefully at the end of their life.
Made in India Excellence
Our products are designed and manufactured in India for Indian conditions, and we are building new manufacturing capabilities at our Tuem facility in Goa.
